Both gentlemen were directly involved with the project, both in the physical construction as well as supervision of the crews. We were satisfied with their workmanship and professionalism and look forward to working with them in the future.” Signed by Louis Pascarella, P.E. and Paul Blake, Superintendent of Recreation
“As Senior Engineer, I have personally worked with Sal Norberto on numerous projects in recent years. I find their work to be professional and indicative of first class workmanship. All personnel that I have been in contact with have been very knowledgeable and extremely attentive to the intricate details of the projects. Workers were courteous and very cooperative. On all projects, numerous minor annoyances were avoided by having meaningful discussions with Norberto personnel before the work commenced. Their primary commitment to a quality “end product” was refreshing to experience. It was a pleasure to work with this organization and I highly recommend this Contractor to all prospective facility owners.” Signed by Vincent DeCollibus, P.E., Senior Engineer
“It is my pleasure to write this reference for Anthony Norberto. As area construction supervisor New York Office of General Services, Design and Construction Group, I have been directly involved in two projects run by Anthony Norberto: 1) Reconstruction of the swimming pools at Montauk State Park on Long Island ($856,000.00), and 2) Replacement of the filtration system, the gutter system and related piping at Roberto Clemente State Park in the Bronx ($619,000.00). Both projects were completed on schedule with a minimum number of change orders, and most importantly, the quality of workmanship was excellent.” Signed by Robert Santoro, P.E., Construction Supervisor
“Dear Frank, The project is a huge success with the residents of Mount Pleasant. Your extraordinary efforts in working in the harsh winter and wettest spring in many a year to achieve the July 4th opening merits a special thank you. We especially enjoyed working with Sal Norberto whose cooperation and diligence made it all happen. Hope to work on another project with you soon. Signed by George Rosamond, AIA Partner
Slattery Associates, Inc. was the GC on a $70 million contract to construct Phase II and III of Riverbank State Park for the NY State Parks Dept. through the Office of General Services. The park is located on the roof of the North River Water Pollution Control Plant in Manhattan, NY. Sal Norberto supervised the installation of the swimming pools systems. The $750,000 subcontract for the two outdoor pools and one Olympic size, heated indoor pool was completed on time. Sal is a knowledgeable and skilled hands-on supervisor who inspired his employees to match his own fast work pace and extracting standards of workmanship. All of his pressure tests passed the first. Sal kept his workplace clean and well organized at all times. The client was very pleased with the high quality of the finished work. It was a pleasure to work with Norberto and I hope we’ll have an opportunity to work together in the future.” Signed by Alun Parker, Assistant Project Manager
Re: Randall Park and Martin Luther King Park “Regarding the work you performed on the referenced project under the employment of Norberto… Under both of these projects there was an extensive amount of rehabilitation on the pool piping, skimmers and pool shell. Your ability to execute the work as required and in accordance with the specifications was clearly exceptional. As expected, all of the completed work continues to operate as well as originally installed and to the Villages’ satisfaction. I will certainly put your firm on our list of qualified bidders for notification of future projects.” Signed by William Rockensies, P.E.
Re: Roberto Clemente State Park “As the Agency Representative for the referenced project, I can unreservedly state that your company was a pleasure to work with. We had a tight schedule and some nasty below ground surprises. Your firm met all the challenges and produced a quality, on time, product. This achievement is consistent with the pools you constructed as a subcontractor for the now 2 year old Riverbank State Park (Manhattan). If you need a reference as to the quality and “can do” attitude of your company, please feel free to use this letter or have the prospective client call me.” Signed by John A. Bagley, P.E. Regional Capital Facilities Manager
“During the time of 1993 through 1997, I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Anthony Norberto. We hired Mr. Norberto to build a very large residential swimming pool in a very difficult area of a large site located on Long Island Sound. In addition to the pool’s unusual size, depth and shape, the design called for two hot tubs, a waterfall, a slide and a bar area. Mr. Norberto, acting as the project manager, achieved the project parameters and delivered the project on time. Subsequently, we awarded Mr. Norberto’s company four more projects at the same jobsite: two indoor pools, an indoor “lagoon” to be stocked with fish and a very large exterior fountain complex which will greet visitors to the estate. To date, all have been completed with the exception of the fountains, which are currently under construction. I found Mr. Norberto to be extremely qualified, highly organized and possessing great experience in his field. Mr. Norberto was very easy to work with and always considerate of the jobsite, the owner, our management and other trades. Always present at the jobsite, he was always willing to listen and to act on our concerns. If a problem arose, he would offer possible solutions and work with us to quickly resolve the issues. I would surely not hesitate to again hire or recommend Mr. Norberto for any of my projects.” Signed by Vincent J. Bresnaider, R.A.
